PiPO HRIS is built by ACCUREX Human Capital Hub Limited, an HR consulting practice based in Nairobi. The platform did not start as a product idea. It started because the same problems kept appearing in consulting engagements — a register nobody trusted, attendance that arrived too late to be verified, a casual workforce managed entirely outside the HR system, and three functions holding three different versions of the same headcount.
Why an HR consultancy built a platform
The usual advice, when an organisation has those problems, is to fix the process and then buy a system. We gave that advice for years. The difficulty is that the systems available were built for a workforce that sits at desks and is paid monthly — so the part of the organisation causing the most pain, the site-based and daily-engaged part, ended up outside the system anyway. The process improved; the spreadsheet survived.
PiPO HRIS exists to close that gap. It handles permanent employees the way any competent HR platform should, and it handles casual and frontline workers on the same record — which is the only way an organisation ever gets a total workforce number it can defend.
Because it is built by a consulting practice, implementations are led by people who have run payroll cycles and cleaned up registers themselves. That shows up mostly in what we say no to: where a process is genuinely broken, configuring around it just moves the problem into the software, and we will say so.
